The Blood Donaiton Camp was arranged by SPV Seva Trust & Sri Prasanna Veeranjaneya Yoga Kendra, Bengaluru in association with Lions Club of Bengaluru Sanjayanagar, MKL Balaga, NGO and Lions Blood Centre Vasanthnagar, Bengaluru; the Blood Donation Camp arranged at Sri Prasanna Veeranjaneya Temple, Mahalakshmipuram, Bengaluru.
1) Inauguration of this 85th Camp of MKL Balaga was done by Sri Alphonse Kurian Kamicheril is a prominent personality and charter member of the Lions Club of Bangalore Sanjaynagar. He is widely recognized for his extensive humanitarian work in blood donation networking, having served for over three decades in this field. Having served as the Chairman of Blood Donation Committee of the Club, presently he is the webmaster and coordinator of LionsBloodLine, a massive database and networking activity of the Lions Club of Bangalore Sanjaynagar that connects voluntary blood donors with patients in need.
2) collected a moderate level of 74 units of blood from students of SPV Yoga Kendra students and devotees of the Temple.
3) Free Eye Check-up availed by 65 people, the cost of Eye check-up was met by Lions Blood Centre Vasanthnagar, Bengaluru;
4) Enthusiastic donors from all corners of Bengaluru donated blood.
5) Breakfast, lunch, Banana and sweets were arranged by SPV Seva Trust MKL Balaga, while biscuits and tetra-pack juice were provided by Lions Blood Centre Vasanthnagar.
