72nd Blood Donation Camp was arranged by MKL Balaga (an NGO for Social Cuase) on 29th October 2024 at Mitsubishi Power India Private Limited, Lalbagh Road, Bengaluru. This Camp was arranged in association with Lions Club of Bengaluru Sanjaynagar, Lions Blood Centre, Vasanathanagar, Bengaluru and SPV Seva Trust, Bengaluru. The Camp’s highlights were: (1) Mitsubishi Power provided spick and span accommodation to conduct the Camp efficiently. To promote blood donation campaign and as an encouragement to employees, Mitsubishi granted a day’s paid-leave to those donated blood. (2) 77 employees and officers donated blood with enthusiasm, 15 of those were 1st-time-donors (3) We collected three units of rare 0-, AB- and B- from donors; there were a few rejections of volunteers of blood donation, indicating healthy work-team. (4) 24 employees volunteered to donate eyes posthumously.
