On 11th August 2025 Sri Prasanna Veeranjaneya Seva Trust arranged at Air Force Station Chimney Hills, on Hesarghatta Road, Bengaluru a-60 minutes nice power-point-presentation and talk on “breastfeeding: The nectar of life” by Dr Shreya G Shetty, MD, Asst Lecturer from Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre.
This program organized by Air Force Family Welfare Association of the above Air Force Station to commemorate the World Breastfeeding Week (1st week of August every year) championed by WHO and UNICEF.
In her presentation, Dr Shreya mentioned that The 2025-Theme “Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems”, calls various Government and NGOs to provide a sustained chain of support (from conception through early childhood) to mothers and babies to receive continuous, accessible and skilled assistance.
Dr Shreya was guided by Dr Sharmila (Professor, Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre) in making the above presentation. Smt. Suma Nagesh too was present on the occasion to supported the Speaker. The President of Air Force Family Welfare Association Smt. Preeta Gopalswami gave certificates of appreciation to all above three persons and Nagesh (all of whom represented SPV Seva Trust).
