As in the past, on Monday 13th January, 2025 SPV Seva Trust celebrated Swamy Vivekananda Jayanthi at Sri Prasanna Veeranjaneya Yoga Kendra, Mahalakshmpuram, Bengaluru.
Smt Vidya Ashoka Nadiger KES (Retd), Ex-Senior Lecturer, District Institute of Education and Training Bangalore District was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Delivering an inspiration speech, Smt Vidya Nadiger recalled the leadership quality of Swamy Vivekananda. As a successful missionary of Vedanta he spread the rich Hindu philosophy and culture of Bharat. Narrating incidents in Swamy Vivekananda’s short life-span of 39 years, Smt. Vidya Nadiger mentioned that he was a great philosopher, intellect, orator and social reformers and above all an ardent patriot.
Earlier in the program, Smt Lata Hegde rendered invocation prayer, young students Chandana and Monik spoke about Sri Swamy Vivekananda. Yoga friends offered pooja to Swamy Vivekananda portrait.
The Program concluded with singing National Anthem by participants and distribution of Sweets and Tea.
