Of all the 70 Blood Donation Camps organized the Camp of the day was the most satisfying, revered and conducted with “felt blessed” feeling, considering the following facts :

(1) The Blood Donation Camp was conducted on the Silver Jubilee of proud Kargil Vijay Divas, 26th July and

(2) in the factory where its former Director Col. M B Ravindranath Vcr (Retd), the brave serviceman from Karnataka who fought and won the Battle of Tololing, pivotal battle in the Kargil War on 26th July 1999 and on whom Government of India decorated the Wartime Gallantry award, VIRCHAKRA.

It was amazing to watch the workers, employees, officers and executives of Magod Laser and its sister companies/units located far and wide from Peenya and Dobbaspet volunteering donation with enthusiasm. A few of employees of neighbouring factories and from the Company’s vendors too donated blood.

Sri M B Rajendra Babu, brother of Col. M B Ravindranath and Director of Magod Laser came all the way from Davangere to participate in the Camp. The executive team of the Company led by its other dynamic director Sri Halaswamy and Sri Satish Kumar, the General Manager provided excellent support in conducting the Camp which witnessed 62 volunteering donating the life-line of which nearly 50% were first-time-donors. 🙏
