7 Feb 2026 – Hindu Samajotsava – SPV Seva Trust were fortunate to associate with the grand convention organized by Hindu Samaajotsava Samithi.
This program was arranged to commemorate the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and was conducted at Rani Abbakka Play Ground at Mahalakshmi Lay Out, Bengaluru.
The purpose of this celebrations (one of more than 3,000 such events being conducted across Karnataka from January 18 to February 28, 2026) was to preserve Hindu religion, create awareness of culture and unity in society. On the day, among many cultural programs covering dance, singing and dram by local schools, we, SPV Seva Trust provided for the pleasure of 400 audience yoga formation (ಯೋಗ ಗುಚ್ಛ) with 19 yoga practitioners from SPV Yoga Kendra.
Sri B S Manjunatha Swamy, Head of Regional Communication Wing of Hindu Vishwa Parishat, South Karnataka delivered motivational, effective and fiery speech for 40 minutes. He traced the history and the raise of RSS over the century. He recalled the contributions made by many Hindu sages, and the necessity of present generation to uphold such traditions and ethos.
Earlier, the program commenced by lighting the lamp and floral tribute to portrait of Bharat Maata by dignitaries on the Dais and Sri Gopalaiah, Local BJP MLA and former Karnataka Government Minister. Smt Mahalakshmi made presidential address and Nagesh, participating as a Chief Guest gave 10 minutes speech highlighting the recent improvements and developments our country witnessed in geopolitical, socio-economic, science & technologies, space science areas.
The program ended with sumptuous dinner.
