13 Sep 2025 Report on visit to Orphanage Nele Anandadwara, Nelamangala

As scheduled, in the presence of Trustees and office bearers of Nele Foundation, Sri Nilesh Jain DGM and Company Secretary, Can Fin Homes Limited inaugurated 3kW Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Grid Tie System.  Sri Shankar, representing supplier of the Solar System, SELCO, the Local Committee managing the Nele Anandadwara, SPV Seva Trust Trustees and students of Sri Prasanna Veeranjaneya Seva Kendra were present on the occasion.

This Grid System was installed at a cost of Rs.2.25 lakhs by Sri Prasanna Veeranjaneya Seva Trust, funded and as a part of CSR activities of Can Fin Homes.

We took an interesting tour of the Anandadwara, and had a glimpse of its facilities and activities being undertaken.  We saw the Solar Grid Tie System newly installed on the top floor of the building.

Along with the troupe of above 30 visitors/care takers of Nele Anandadwara, and other 30 students for whom Nele Anandadwara takes care with love, food, shelter and middle-school education, we took sumptuous and tasty launch.

Trustees of Nele Foundation as well as Local Committee of Nele Anandadwara gave overwhelming reception and took care to us.  They organized a short meet and gave a brief of their benevolent activities.  Speaking on the occasion Sri  Chandrashekhar, Trustee of Nele Foundation (founded by Sri Ajit Kumar, founder Director of Hindu Seva Pratishthana), mentioned that single-parent and destitute boys from across Karnataka State were staying in Anandadwara. Explaining the strict process and formalities in selecting the boys for admission, he mentioned the challenges faced in bring them to the main stream.  Sri Chandrasekar’s words “apart from providing shelter, food and education, Nele gives the all 245 students in their 12 orphanages, moral values and mould them to become responsible citizens of the country” moved our yoga friends present.  All boys of Nele Anandadwara recited with chaste voice and clarity, a couple of verses from Bhagavad Gita and chanted sanskrit mantras and slokas.

We donated Rs.40,000 from SPV Seva Trust and distributed note books and biscuits.  With a profound sense of gratitude and satisfaction, we left Anandadwara in our pooled cars.
