Highlights of the Blood Donation Camp were:
1. Camp done in memory of Machine Tool Industry veteran and founder of Pragati Automation Machine Sri Ashok V Sathe (17 Mar 1940 – 29 Dec 2020);
2. The Camp was conducted in a well-planned makeshift-tent erected within the factory premises;
3. Both senior and young employees and officers (including six women donors) enthusiastically participated in the Camp resulting in collection of valuable 89 blood units;
4. There were 15 first-timers who donated the life-line;
5. Seven employees with rare -ve Blood Groups donated;
6. Rejection of donors on health ground was negligible, reflecting sound health of employees of Pragati.
